Follow the above-mentioned workflow to land on the Manage Courses screen.
Click the + Add New Course button. This takes you to the Add New Course screen.
Here, enter the title of the course in the Course Title field.
As you type, the slug for the course title is automatically populated in the Slug (read-only) field.
Once entered, click the Save button.
As you click Save, you are taken to the course details screen. Here, information about the course is recorded in 5 steps that include Basic Information, Graphic Interface, Detailed Information, Teacher Information, and Sections Management.
Basic Information
This is the first section that opens upon creating the course.
The name of the course is auto-populated in the Course Name field.
Set the URL for your sales page using the Sales Page URL field.
To set the status of the course as enabled, mark the Enabled checkbox.
To make the course visible to all users regardless of the enrollment, mark the Always Visible checkbox.
To enable a feed wall containing posts connected to the course, mark the Enable Feed checkbox.
To enable a system of rating for your course and lessons, mark the Enable Rating checkbox.
Once the required information is filled, click the Graphic Interface step from the top.
Graphic Interface
This section allows you to design the graphic interface of the course. Starting off, click the Browse File button from the Logo field to upload a logo from your system storage for the course.
Similarly, click the Browse button from the Cover Image field to choose a cover image from your system storage.
Next up is the appearance of the buy now button. Use the Background Color color palette to choose the background color of the button.
Similarly, choose the text color for the Buy Now button using the Text Color color palette.
Moving further, click the Browse button from the Preview section to choose an image for video preview of the course from your system storage.
The Template Editing section allows you to set the interface of the lessons in your course. Choose the primary color for the lesson to appear in using the Primary Color color palette.
Select a color for the lesson background using the Lesson Background Color color palette.
To hide the header, unmark the Show Header checkbox.
In case you do not want the title to appear inside the header, unmark the Show Title inside the Header checkbox.
In case you do not want the description to appear inside the header, unmark the Show Description inside the Header checkbox.
In case you do not want the logo to appear inside the header, unmark the Show logo inside the header checkbox.
In case you want to include custom CSS in the course design, enter the code in the Styling CSS code editor.
Once these selections are made, click the Detailed Information tab to record detailed information.
Detailed Information
Once you have landed on the Detailed Information section, choose the primary language of the course using the Primary Language dropdown.
Enter a description of the course in the Description textbox.
Use the Introduction rich text editor to enter an introduction of the course.
Create a list of skills in bullet points using the What will they learn? field.
To add a bullet, click the + Add Bullet button.
The certificates you have created populate in the Certificate section which we will take a detailed look at in the Certificate module.
Once this information is recorded, click the Teacher Information tab.
Teacher Information
Once in the Teacher Information section, enter the name of the teacher in the Teacher Name field.
Enter the role of the teacher in the Teacher Role field.
Record a bio of the teacher using the Teacher Bio textbox.
To add another teacher, click the + Add Teacher button.
To remove a teacher, click the Remove button.
Once the required teachers have been added, click the Sections Management tab.
Sections Management
In the Sections Management tab, click the + Add Section button to add a new section.
Clicking this button opens the Add Group popup.
Here, enter the name of the section in the Section Name field.
Choose when you want to enable the section using the Enabling dropdown.
Once the required selections are made, click the Create button.
Once a section is added, click the + icon from the section row to add a lesson to it.
From the Add Lesson popup that opens, enter the title of the lesson in the Lesson Title field.
Once added, click the Create button.
To create and view the lesson, click the Create and View Lesson button.
To preview the course, click the Preview button.
To link a webhook to the course, click the Link Webhook button.
To duplicate the course, click the Duplicate button.
To delete a course, click the Delete button.
Once the required details are recorded, click the Save button.
